Why Join a Guild?
Support the NE Quilt Museum
Wayside Quilters is part of the museum's Supporting Guilds program, so guild members are eligible for a $5 discount on museum membership. Memberships are the museum's main funding source, so if you're able, please join. Museum members get many benefits, including borrowing privileges at the museum's library.
Becoming a Member
Membership is $35 dollars for one program year Sept. - June. You can join in-person at any meeting. We accept cash and checks made out to Wayside Quilters Guild. If you have any questions, please contact us email@example.com
Membership form - you can print out a membership form in advance or we can give you one at your first meeting.
Visit before you join - Our meetings are open to the public. Non-members pay $5 at the door. Let us know if you're considering joining and we'll be happy to introduce you to some members and answer all your questions.
Membership Has its Privileges
Volunteering is a great way to get to know more members and gives you the opportunity to help shape the guild's future. As with so many things in life, the more you put into the guild, the more you'll get out of being a member. Opportunities range from being a chair of a committee, to hanging up fliers around town or sharing an event on Facebook.
Who Makes the Decisions Around Here?
Decisions about programming, outreach and the future of the guild are made by members of the board. Board meetings are open to all guild members. They (the meetings, that is) are a lot more interesting than you might expect.
Upcoming board meetings are announced at our monthly guild meetings, in the newsletter and on the Guild Calendar page of this website. Current board members/committee chairs can be found on this page. Please note that some positions are currently vacant (hint...hint).

Need a Ride? Want to Carpool?
Many members are happy to give other members a ride to a meeting or workshop. Besides making it possible for more people to attend, carpooling is a good way to get to know more people and it's better for the environment. If you're not sure who lives near you, check you member list; it gives everyone's address.
Members are expected to volunteer as they are able.
