Twice a year we gather together for a day of sewing quilts for those in need. These are fun days full of learning and laughter. This is a great event for getting to know people better and introducing crafty friends to the guild. You don't have to be an expert quilter; basic sewing skills and a desire to help are all you need.
Members make quilts for charitable organizations all year round. The Outreach Chair often has kits or partially made quilts available. Or you can make the design of your choice; just be sure to ask the Outreach Chairs, Susan Thomas and LuLinda Tucker whether our recipient groups have any size or color requirements.

You can find all the details on the Quilt Show page.
2018 Block of the Month - NEW
Jill Cochrane is offering a block of the month for 2018! Each month at the beginning of our meeting Jill will give a brief introduction to the pattern for the month, and hand out instructions. You can do as many or as few as you like. If you miss a meeting, don't worry, the blocks will be posted here.
The finished blocks will be 12" square. The blocks will require a variety of skills within the beginner or confident beginner range. This is a great project to learn some new skills and use your beloved stash.

Sew Happy - NEW
St. Anne's in the Fields church,
147 Concord Rd in Lincoln
Odd months = Midweek
Even months = Saturday
What's a quilt guild without sewing bees? Once a month (in addition to our guild meeting) we meet to sew together. Bring whatever project you're working on (hand and machine sewing welcome) and experience the joy of sewing in community. You can come for the day (10 AM to 2 PM) or drop in for an hour. Non-members are welcome.
We would like to make a donation to the church for use of their space, so please bring whatever amount you feel is right.
$5 - $10 is recommended

2017 Share the Squares
We've created a Nine Patch board on the guild's Pinterest page. If you see something online that you'd like to add, send us a link either through Pinterest or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you prefer something less digital, Kathie has a 3-ring binder full of nine patch examples that she'd be happy to share.
We are working on a nine-patch quilt to raffle at our 2018 quilt show (not to be confused with the raffle quilt). We hope the interest our individual scrappy quilts generate at the show will translate into visitors wanting to buy raffle tickets for the chance to own one of their own. Would you like to help? Caring Heart Pillows
Caring Heart Pillows are made and kept on hand for giving to members during difficult times - usually involving illness or bereavement. If you would like to make one at home, or no one someone in the guild who might need one, please contact Marianne Hatton or Jane Harris for a kit or instructions. We usually devote our February meeting to making these pillows together, weather permitting.
The Travelling Quilt
In early 2017 the guild received an email regarding one of our outreach quilts.
