2018 Quilt Show - Save the Date
Elements of the Show
2018 Quilt Challenge
The 2018 quilt challenge theme is "at the seashore".
This is a brown bag challenge. Ann Moses will supply the bags with 3 fat quarters in them.
2018 Raffle Quilt
This quilt is truly the work of our community, from the blocks that were made in homes throughout the region to the many creative submissions to our naming contest.
The winning name is Rhapsody of Stars, submitted by Jane Harris. In addition to naming rights, she won longarm services from JKThreads.
We are so grateful to Jean for designing this year's beautiful raffle quilt and chairing the Raffle Quilt Committee.
A huge thank you to the whole raffle quilt team: Jean, Laura, Betsy, Kathie, Anne and Susan. Thank you for the gifts of your time, talent and artist eye.
Sewing for the Boutique
Our boutique is always full of wonderful items, but we'd like to out do ourselves in 2018 (and help underwrite future speakers and workshops in the process). Want to help?
We are a multi-talented, multi-crafty bunch. At this year's quilt show we will have a section where members can display completed projects they are proud of that are NOT quilts.
Quilts of Valor to Return in 2018
In 2016 Darlene and her team of volunteers from Quilts of Valor brought tears and smiles to service members attending the show. We're so excited to announce that they'll be with us again in 2018.
With over 200 quilts, a vibrant boutique and demonstrations, there sure was a lot for visitors to take in.
